Well, it's a gloomy, rainy day here in Nebraska. We really need the rain, so I'm not complaining. It's just one of those days when a mug of hot tea and a good book to read sounds like an ideal way to spend the afternoon. Actually, I am having a good day today. One dose of Zomig spray tamed the beast this morning, and I even managed to get a couple of dogs groomed today. I am feeling a little better about having to cancel our trip-but I need to stay off the boards though for awhile cuz everyone is so excited and posting about the show. So maybe I'll spend a little more time with the bunnies and try to get the show does bred for Convention babies. Nothing like planning for a new generation of show bunnies to get your mind off of your problems. We have raised quite a few different species of animals, but I have to say bunnies are the best. Having to wait 11 months to see what kind of foal your mare has is just too long. We have bred and raised horses, goats, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats, mice, rabbits, various poultry and yes even snakes one time. And I've had bucket calves, pigs and even a couple of lambs. Oh, also a raccoon but he probably doesn't count since we put him with a momma cat and she raised him with her kittens. Sorry if I am rambling...my mind kind of phases in & out thanks to the migs and meds. It's very irritating not being able to think straight, but I guess I just have to do the best I can with it. I hope everyone is grabbing whatever good moments they have too...we really have to make those count!
