Spring is here! Most people love the season. I would, except for my weather-triggered migraines :) This past weekend was HORRID! I was in Friday for shots, and back in on Monday. They pulled out all the stops and gave me Toradol and a cortisone shot...4 shots!!!! Good thing I have a big target area I guess. Anyway, today is the first day that I feel like doing much of anything. The peach tree by the garage is in full bloom. That's one of the things that attracted me to this little place...I always wanted a peach tree. Hubby has been doing some work out in the yard so that homey sort of thing is coming together.
We heard yesterday that one of my daughter's classmates was killed-one of his "friends" ran him down - alcohol was involved of course. My son knew him too - it is a small school system. I just don't understand why kids think they need to be drinking. It is just so sad-such a waste of a young person's life.
One of the members of our church is having his 101st birthday party this evening...so we will be celebrating his life, and mourning another.
I was going to tie this all together into something profound, but I can't.
Spring is here
